FAQ's Got a question? Check below to see of we've already answered it.

n addition to following guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and OSHA, we use disposable products as often as possible. Between each patient visit, we thoroughly clean treatment rooms and sterilize reusable instruments in an autoclave. Because we value safety, we have invested in a digital radiograph, which emits about 90% less radiation than a traditional X-ray machine. We also use intraoral cameras and digital photography for close-up images, which aid in accurate diagnoses. If you have questions about our safety and sterilization methods, call our office. We'll answer your questions with enthusiasm because we love dentistry and our patients.
Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a chemical compound that is often called laughing gas. Delivered through a facemask, nitrous oxide dulls the senses and helps a person relax. It was first used in 1790 as an inhalant, and has been used since the 1840s in the US. Nitrous oxide is safe in the doses we administer to dental patients. One major benefit of nitrous oxide is that once we stop the flow of the gas, the effects of nitrous diminish almost immediately. You can drive home from your dental visit and return to normal daily activities.
That’s the goal! And we have an excellent track record. With luxurious amenities like nitrous oxide, your dental visits will feel like a day at the spa! In addition, every member of our team is trained in and committed to helping you feel relaxed and confident during your time with us. In your initial visit, talk with one of the doctors about your concerns. They will consider it a personal challenge to make you fall in love with dental visits.
Over-the-counter teeth whitening is not bad. However, dentist-administered whitening systems are more powerful. We create custom mouth trays to hold a potent bleaching gel closely against teeth and to keep out saliva. These reusable trays will go home with you, so you can touch up your smile whenever it needs a boost. If you run out of whitening gel, call us to order a refill.
Absolutely. We enjoy creating gorgeous, healthy smiles for patients of any age. If we find that your child – or you, for that matter – would benefit from seeing a specialist, we'll refer you to a trusted colleague. Some children deal with dental appointments better at a pedodontist's office, that's what a children's dentist is called. We also refer patients who have extensive dental problems, like advanced periodontitis or problematic root canals, to specialists for optimal care. As a general dentist office, our preventive, restorative, prosthetic, and cosmetic dental services include treatments suitable for patients of all ages.
Halitosis, which we know as “bad breath,” usually originates with bacteria, and it affects about 60 million Americans. Dental problems like gum disease, plaque buildup, and tooth decay greatly contribute to bad breath. Oral bacteria put off a smelly byproduct, called volatile sulfur compounds, or VSCs. We offer full examination and recommendations for treatments.
We are in network with Delta Dental Premier and Blue Dental Insurances. We will also be more than happy to electronically file your out-of-network claim and accept assignment of benefits. Just be ready to pay your co-pay or deductible at your visit, and we’ll take care of the rest.
We, of course, accept cash, and your personal check is welcome, as well. You may pay by credit card, or, if you prefer to finance your dental work, visit CareCredit online to submit an application for a low- or no-interest loan.
